Hong Kong again (pt. 3)
Dessert at 许留山, which I found out exists in the US as well! Schweeeet! But Dora treated me to dessert, as in 9 different mango desserts which I ended up eating most of it. Omgggg. So good!
Hong Kong again (pt. 2)
Sorry for the super late photos. I know I’ve been back in the States for a good 3 weeks already, but I’m been extremely lazy/busy (whichever way you wish to see it).
Hong Kong Once More! (pt.1)
So after finishing finals, I packed up all my stuff and went down to HK to visit family one last time since I had to transfer there regardless. I didn’t really snap too many pictures, but basically it was hanging out with my Great-Aunt, eating, shopping, and very little sight-seeing since I saw almost everything already.
Basically: Buffet @ Royal Plaza Hotel, Transformers @ Olympic, Ocean Park.
June 23nd, 2011
I started this entry last night at the airport, but never got to finish it. I see myself doing that a lot recently, starting entries and not really finishing them.
Well here I am, home at last. I got in last night at around 10, and made it through security in one piece. And best of all, on the other side D was there, as well as my mother. Not to mention, my cousin, who apparently was on the same flight as me (who knew!).
So to recap the last 5 days. I flew in on the 17th to be picked up by my Great-Aunt. I somehow moved all my luggage to her place. The next day I woke up to dim sum, and later a buffet lunch/dinner at the Royal Plaza Hotel. We then headed to Olympic to look at these huge Transformers.
On the 19th, I went to Ocean Park with my Great-Aunt and my cousin Dora! Omg, it was so hot and thank god HK does not skimp on airconditioning. Ocean Park was fun, but I wish I got to see more of it and visit everything. Next time though.
On the 20th, we went to KwaiFong and Sham Shui Po for shopping. I spent a little too much at KwaiFong, and I wanted to buy everything at Sham Shui Po. Thankfully, a lot of things were for wholesale, and the thought of buying 36 totoro’s just didn’t appeal to me, at all. That night included more shopping at Mongkok Center followed by dessert at 许留山 (we ordered pretty much their version of the sampler, which was 9 different mango desserts).
On the 21st, we went to Ma On Shan and walked around their shopping center. Didn’t really do much, except I did meet up my cousin’s for dinner. Ate KBBQ near the hotel I stayed at with my parents. Omg, too much food.
On the 22nd, I slept and packed. I also visited another Great-Aunt of mine, who gave me pictures of her chubby great-grandchild (the same one from Xiaolan). Then I just headed to the airport to catch my flight home. Btw, Fairwood is pretty freaking good airport food.
And there recaps my visit to HK, which may have sounded kind of boring, was actually pretty fun. There’s a part 2 of this coming along, but I wanna go back to sleep.
Soon,
J
